World Anti Malaria Day

World Anti Malaria Day is an international observance commemorated every year on April 25, 2019, and recognized global efforts to control Malaria. On this day HAPS also took an initiative to aware students of grade 2nd-12th about Malaria, its causes and precautionary measures. A  PPT which was prepared by BIO Department of the school was also shown to the students in their respective classes. Aryan Chadda, a +2 class student, delivered a speech on the same in the Morning Assembly of the school.

Health and Hygiene workshop at HAPS

A Health and Hygiene workshop was conducted at HAPS for boarders where they made aware about the advantages of healthy eating, balanced diet & various nutrition. The session revolved around the good habits related to health and hygiene, which the students must inculcate in themselves in order to live a healthy life and be more productive in study.

World Earth Day celebrated HAPS Vikas Nagar

World Earth Day was observed at HAPS Vikas Nagar on April 22, 2019. To mark the event, Mrs. Reena Thakur (PRT) delivered a speech on ‘our Responsibility towards mother Earth’. Mrs. Manju (PGT Bio) also enlightened the students about environment and sustainable development. Students of grade 5th recited the poems on the same and for classes 1st-3rd a fancy dress competition was also organized. 6th-8th grade students spread awareness through posters. Moreover the NSS unit of the school, under the supervision of Mrs. Shashi Bala and Mr. Ashwani Sharma (Programming Officers NSS Unit HAPS) along with its volunteers enlightened the people of nearby village Sasan about the harmful effects of the plastic usage. NSS volunteers also suggested the villagers to collect the plastic and give it to the PWD Department for road construction and they should always try to use dustbin at their homes so that the waste plastic and other waste material can be recycled and reused. This entire programme was successfully executed and accomplished under the supervision of Er. (Mrs.) Naina Lakhanpal, Principal HAPS.

Top School of India Ranking Survey 2018

Once again, Him Academy Public School proved its mettle, when DigitalLearning magazine adjudged the school as one of the best schools in the Top School of India Ranking Survey 2018.

Workshop on Classroom Management at HAPS

A workshop on classroom management was conducted at HAPS on April 13 -14, 2019. 53 teachers from different schools of Himachal Pradesh attended this workshop. Mrs. Dapinder Kaur, Principal, Guru Har Karishna Sr. Secondary School Amritsar and Dr. Chhabi Kashyap, Principal Rainbow International School, Nagrota, Kangra (H.P) presided over the workshop as Resource Persons & keynote speaker as well. Through various activities all the teachers learned different methods to manage the class. Moreover in this workshop teachers also learned that now a day’s teaching-learning process is not limited to bookish knowledge only but we all should enlightene the students in a way so that every child can utilize his/her learning eternally and in a constructive way. At the completion of above said workshop, Resource Persons were given souvenir by the management of HAPS. Under the supervision of Dr. (Mrs.) Himanshu Sharma, Principal Academics HAPS, Mrs. Shashi Bala, coordinator HAPS and Mrs. Kavita Sharma, workshop in charge, afore mentioned workshop was accomplished.

Commencement of New Academic Session at HAPS
