Hyderabad Delegation at HAPS

Under AFS (American Field Services), a delegation consisting of 12 members from Suchitra Academy Hyderabad arrived for a week long educational & cultural exchange program at HAPS on December 06, 2019. This delegation was accorded a warm welcome by the worthy management of the school in the morning assembly. Ms. Renu Shorey, The Principal-Director, Suchitra Academy and Ms. Sujana Lama, AFS Coordinator, Suchitra Academy along with ten student delegates also observed the morning assembly and admired it a lot and thanked everyone for arranging their wonderful stay and warm welcome at HAPS. All the members of the delegation also visited & interacted with the students in their respective classes. This all was followed by the cultural presentation, gardening in the school campus, a PPT presentation on culture of Himachal Pradesh and visit to the local market in the evening.

Ozone Day Celebration

Ozone Day was celebrated at HAPS on September 16, 2019. A Poster Making Competition and a Quiz Competition were also held. The main objective of above said celebration was to enlighten the students about various important facts about Ozone layer, its functioning and how we can protect Ozone Layer from depletion.

Teacher Day Celebration at HAPS

“One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.”

Teacher’s Day was celebrated vigorously at HAPS on September 05, 02019. As 5th of September is the birth anniversary of a great person named, Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, who was highly devoted towards education and well known as the scholar, diplomat, the first Vice President of India and most importantly a well renowned Teacher. The event was commenced with ‘Tilak Ceremony’ for Teachers followed by a brief introduction about the day. 

Dr. Himashu Sharma Principal Academics along with Mrs. Shashi Bala and Mrs. Kanchan Lakhanpal (Coordinators) remunerated Homage to Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, on whose birthday the day is celebrated. Dr. Himashu Sharma delivered a speech on this occasion and lauded the role of teachers. She also read the President’s Message for all teachers of the nation. To pay a real tribute to the teachers students recited Shalokas, presented a group song and enacted and dance about students and teachers (actual class room situation). The celebration concluded with National Anthem.
