Awareness Campaign at HAPSVN

On August 23, 2019 on the occasion of International Youth Day, an awareness drive on ‘Adolescences issues and Remedy’ was organized by Health and Family Welfare Department, Hamirpur at HAPS.

Dr. Archana Soni, CMO Hamirpur along with Dr. Sunil Verma, District Program Officer, Hamirpur and Mr. Satish Shukla, District Mass Education and Information Officer presided over the occasion as Chief Guest.

Worthy Chief Guest with other dignitaries was welcomed warmly by Er. Naina Lakhanpal, Principal HAPS and was presented a plant in her welcome.

A Declamation and Panel Discussion on ‘Adolescence Problems and its Solution’ was also organized in which students of Grade +1 and +2 enlightened the other students about the same and its remedies.

Dr. Sunil Verma also shared valuable information about Adolescence Problems and its solutions. He also insisted the students to be an ambassador and a role model for others.

He emphasized that there should be no Gender Discrimination (between boys and girls), equality should be there and we should avoid fast food and take a proper and balance nutrients diet.

He also gave a message to introspect among ourselves.

Sanskrit Exhibition at HAPS

 

With considerate efforts of Language Department (Sanskrit) HAPS, a Sanskrit Exhibition was organized at HAPS on August 21, 2019. Mr. Nikku Ram, honorable DLO (District Language Officer) Hamirpur presided over the occasion as Chief Guest. Mr. Nikku Ram was greeted warmly by the entire school management and given a ‘plant’ in his honor and welcome. 

The above said exhibition was started with lightening the lamp, followed by a welcome speech by Dr. Hmianshu Sharma, (Principal Academic HAPS). A skit in Sanskrit, Shalokas recitation and a song presentation by school students made every one spell bound. Students from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and Green Valley Public School, Jahu along with their teachers also visited the exhibition and recited ‘Shalokas’. This above said exhibition was very well admired and appreciated by the visitor schools. 

In this exhibition, to promote ‘Sanskrit’ language, medium of instruction and communication was ‘Sanskrit’ language. Er. Naina Lakhanpal (Principal, HAPS) congratulated everyone for smooth conduct of this exhibition.

Independence Day and Rakhi Celebration at HAPS

"Freedom in Mind,Faith in the Words,Pride in our Souls"

73rd Independence Day was celebrated magnificently at HAPS.To make the day more memorable, students of Grade 6th and 7th performed a theme based dance and song on Patriotism. A Rakhi Making activity for grade 6th-7th boarder girls was also organized. Eco-friendly ‘Rakihes’ were prepared by afore said students and they also gave a message to preserve and protect our nature and environment. 

To pay a true homage to our vigilant guard i.e. Indian Soldiers, Thank You cards were also sent to them for their valuable love, devotion and sacrifice for our country. The entire management congratulated everyone on this wonderful occasion.

Daily Routine Exercises at HAPS

“Healthy mind, healthy body. ... A healthy mind lives in a healthy body”

Every day early exercises i.e. Yoga, Zumba (dance form of rhythmic exercise); Nature Walk etc. keep us physically fit, energetic and enthusiastic. For its boarders, at HAPS all above mentioned exercises are being carried out every day. Boarders of grade 4th -12th on alternate days, according to a particular schedule, are learning different types of ‘Asanas’, they are also being carried out for a nature walk as well. To make all the students physically strong and fit, Sports Department of HAPS is also putting their best efforts by engaging the students in various physical training exercises early in the morning. HAPS is fully focused and committed for the all round development of the children and by organising such exercises everyday in the morning as their daily routine to make all its children capable enough for upcoming future challenges.
